Default The great Replica shirt scam.......

I used to think that purchasing the shirt was all part of supporting your team......now I just pick em up when they are going cheap.

How many clubs have had a host of new kits for next season ????
I know United have always been the ones in the press but I have seen loads of diff shirts already.........

And is it just me or are we all getting shafted with the Nike shirts.... its f@@king identical to all the others with the stripe along the back.... same with the Reebok stuff.....

the sad thing is, i have this need to always have the latest kits..........yet i know i am being taken for a ride.......

although all clubs change their strip every other year....it does seem a hell of a lot more on utd's part........

It is a piss take. I bought a Leeds 72 shirt a few years back. Can't be arsed with buying a new strip each season, and the prices are getting ridiculous.

What gets me is a Bolton Away shirt is 40 quid everywhere in Bolton and the United shirt is between 32 and 35 !!

I know that they are cheaper as the bulk they sell in but other teams shirts are similar and made of the same keep you dry, breathe easy, water proof, radiation blocking bollocks

I haven't bought a shirt for about 15 years and neither will I when £40 is what they are asking every year. I just wear a little badge on my jumper or coat, that cost me about £1 about 12 years ago and still has the yorkshire rose emblem which i much prefer. I also have a retro 70's LU football emblem badge passed down from my dad, but that's far too precious to wear...........

about 70% of the shirts are sold to kids, i have bought a few as presents for my nephew and for 35 quid or most times cheaper they are a bargain, he wears it constantly and gets more than enough wear out of it, compare that to a 20 quid plain nike t-shirt not a bad deal really.

Liverscum have had more kits than any other team in the last 5 years, inc Utd and i do believe at the end of the season or maybe next they will be changing sponsor again the word on the grapevine is Kappa although Nike will prop go for them as they do better shell suits, i was also glad to see the great charity give away last week 10000 shell suits from Manchester to Liverpool via the commonwealth commity

Everton are releasing 3 new kits this season an replacin teh away kit i bought last season after only one season. What makes it worse is that the kits for this season are only goin to last for THIS season, they are replacin them nxt season for the 125th anniversary . The only advantage is that i work at sports soccer so i get a discount of the cheaper prices neway .

it's all a load of shit, 80% of the fans at the game are from within the North West area, and i wake up every morning and see a true stadium, unlike 19 other PL teams
