    Wanted European laptop mains lead.

Looking for one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EURO-CLOVER-LE...item3a5521a970

Exactly what is in that auction, but ideally I want a shorter one, less than 0.5m.

If no joy in a week or so, I'll just get the longer one.

    TIA

Had a quick look, and seems nothing for the smaller laptop 3 pin leads.

IIRC the Dell PSU's have some the right pin configuration, but the socket is moulded different. Kind of more square and at a 90 degree angle to fit the PSU hole.

Kind of see what I mean here: http://www.viewpoints.com/images/rev...-9788_full.jpg

By all means have a look :-)

I've got what you are looking for, but the longer version, new and the mains lead enters the Schuko plug from the top, not in an angle, like the picture in the auction on your first post. Let me know if you're interested and PM me your address, I can send it FOC tomorrow...
    Greetings :)

Well if you can't see the pictures it maybe a bit hard! I can't really paste up an ASCI image of one. Not in a hurry for it so have a look at home. Can't see why you would have a load of them TBH, but check and see anyway.

    Oh and take your torch.

Sorry they always are scarce at work otherwise I would offer.

    Just thought I would comment:

    2 pin doesn't really fit.

Have never ever seen a short one myself - why not cut a lead short then find an old plug to put on it?

@ Mickey - it's the standard cloverleaf plug like most commonly seen on laptop power supplies.

I've got a proper Schuko plug as well and can shorten the cable to the required length if you like. The plug looks like this:

    That sounds good!

If the other end looks like this:

    Then we have a winner!

About 30cm length will be perfect.

Sending PM's now (forgot last night!)

Envelope with two cables (one long and one short) is on its way. Should be with you either tomorrow or Friday.
