    Default hdd to hdd copying

im getting a new hdd tommorow morning, i have 10 gig of games mp3's etc, i wanna copy over to the new hard disk, any suggestions on how to do it with such a large file?, would it be best to copy individual folders a bit at a time or use an image prorgam , dump the image then restore onto the new drive ?
i suppose the image is better option as there will be compression used,
suggestions appreciated, dont wanna lose any data

    Default

    You want Norton Ghost.

You can copy a full Drive to another Drive in one go.

Yer Mr Flash is right norton ghost 2003 is the one i'm using at the moment and I can safely say that it's the best hd/hd backup program I have ever used, after backing up your hd tto your new one format it and then use ghost to dump a compressed image onto it,so you can use it later if your new drive went down.

    Default h/d

why not leave your stuff on your h/d leave it in your tower and have it as a second drive ie: join both h/ds together with the the same cable it saves the space on your new drive:rolls:
