    Am I Set??

I have ordered a Pre-Mod Xbox with the X-ecutor mod chip installed, and its on its way!

Also I have 2 DVD writers, Pioneer A04, and the HP 200i. So I should be covered on the DVD-R and DVD+R media.

I have a variety of burning software including, Nero, Clone CD, Disk Juggler 4.0, and Veritas software (came with writers).

Should I need anything else to compliment my DVD/Xbox/PS2 backups?

Do I have limitations to what games I can backup on the Xbox using the original DVD drive in the Xbox? Do I need to Swap Out Drives?

    Thanks for any helpful feedback.

you might want a NIC (Network Card) and a Crossover Cable (depends on your net setup)....you can then transfer stuff to and from your xbox HD.

Not essential, but damn cool and very handy

    Ah man, I got that!!
    Thanks!!

I was REALLY worried that I would have to change DVD drives in the Xbox, due to some backup games not working. I have read conflicting info on that issue.

I guess all will be well, until "BILL" decides to add new bios, then I guess I would have to add something so I can flash back to old bios.

    Thanks for all the help.

Most ppl seem to think that primo dvd is the best software (and sometimes the only program that will burn xbox games) you could get that.

Ok i got this Stomp, Primo program. I think here in the USA its called RecordNow MX, made by Veritas (I think). Came with my Pinoeer A04 DVD-Writer and HP 200i DVD-Writer.

I don't have my Xbox mod yet, sometime later in the week, but it seems that RecordNow did a GREAT job making a copy of Xbox game in a test. I guess I will find out in a few days, but looks the same and works on the PC.

You guys have been alot of help! Thanks!!

PS-- I hack DirecTV Sat cards, anyone need a fix, email me.....I keep 200 cards going!

Buddy I was in your shoes just a few days ago. This forums is GREAT! All the info you need is here. If you PM me your email addy I will send you all the files and a HOW TO guide on how to RIP the Games and also add the Evolution-X to the Xbox console. I have some very easy "how to" with color photo's. They are in Microsoft Word format. PM me your email addy and I will send.

Once I received these guides, took me less than 30 minutes to set it all up, and now I am a Burning machine!

ilovefeetv just use nero for ps2 to dvd-r or cdr as is needed, for xbox use primo/mx (same program different regions)dvd-r and all is fine, the problems are normaly with using cdr/cdrw on xboxes as some xbox drives realy suck at reading cd's
