My kids have still got the DS Lite with their DSTT cards, didnt get them the DSi as was told they will only play PAL games is this correct, if incorrect which card works and software etc

Not entirely true. normal DS cards have no region protection, so any games that work on your current DS will work on the DSi/XL, however games that have DSi specific features are locked to their native region for some reason.

I’ve got one of the DSi XL’s and the only complaint I can come up with is the top off the machine attracts finger prints like nobody’s business. The screens are fantastic and everyone that has had a go has commented that it is a vast improvement on the Nintendo DS.

The only thing I find myself wanting now is a good card to put games on as I had an R4 which I am lead to believe wont work with the DSi XL so I am going to get myself an Acecard2i when I get the chance.

any card that will work on dsi with 1.4 firmware will work with dsi xl. I now have a dsi xl and i am using acekard 2i updated to work on 1.4 and it works great
