I have a x-ecuter chip installed which works good. I have booted a CDRW and instaled evolutionX. I have tried to tweak the laser pot, but with no luck. After some adjustments (not belov 900ohms) I now cant eject. I know the eject signal to the player is working, because I have tested it valid with another drive.
Can the pot tweaking lead to eject failure on the XBOX drive?
Is there anywhere I can check on the PCB for fuses or bridges.
The drive is not dead. When I start the XBOX up, I hear a sound which repeats one time. I thing this is the laser thats checking for CD/DVD.
All help appretiated.
