PSP instructions needed to put downloaded games onto psp

I've been downloading games for my daughters psp , is there anywhere i can get some straight forward basic instructions on how to put them on to the console , I've looked all over and it seems like you need to be a computer wizz kid or have 15 A levels just to understand them , i used to put the games onto her DS with no problems , i think i may need to start by upgrading her memory card as the one she has in is only a few meg , any help would be appreciated
    Thanks

1 - PSP 1000 is the original 'Fat' PSP. It is hackable to run custom firmware.
2 - PSP 2000 is the first 'slim' model, all but the most recent of these were hackable.
Has an extra 32mb of ram for caching UMD (disc) data and apparently the web browser uses it also.
3 - PSP 3000 is the '2nd gen' slim, it has a different screen that was meant to be better but is actually worse. Also, 3000 has the PS symbol instead of the world 'home' on the bottom left face button.

If you have either 1 or 2, you should be ok to mod it matey!

they have some nice Pandora batts over at dealextreme, i got one with a button on it so you can switch between Pandora and normal mode. I dug up a few older battery i had and pardora'd and they had gone flat and refused to charge. I think, although don't quote me, I used an app called pspgrader to make the MMS

I've got a PB and a MMS but I'm always a bit apprehensive as I screwed up two before!!

I did a 1003 last week which was on Official firmware 6.2? I used rains ultra magic stick maker, changed the firmware to 5.00m3 I think then copied the 5.50 m3 firmware across ran the install and it worked a treat, plus problematic games like Little Big Planet works fine now....

I've currently got a psp slim with 5.00 m-33-6 CFW on it. Do I need to upgrade it to play the latest games??

Thanks mate. I have been looking around and it seems that Gen 3 and M-33 both have their positives, and negatives. I suppose it's down to preference?

If you want to play new games like Gran Turismo then I think you will need a Gen-3 firmware on your PSP
