UPDATE

ok, this is how the story goes, i see this advert, i get in contact, mark says all is cool and no problems, he sends me photos of it working, maybe he took the photos weeks before, i like the look of it so i get in contact and he arranges to come from nottingham to pick up the laptop which was £1200 worth of kit

he drives 160 miles and comes and then goes, it seems dodgy, he checked the laptop to see if it worked, i couldnt find the power cable to check if the pc worked so he give me £100 and dvds are sorted and he went, when he goes i take it all upstairs and turn it on, it wouldnt go on, it was giving me some error saying it couldnt load, so i give it to my dads mate to look at as i didnt wanna touch anything, these where the problems

motherboard - blown
atx - not powerfull enough to handle computer
neons - didnt work
monitor - has a line going right thru middle
dvd rom - was slow (6x) he said it was 16x
cdrw - said it was fast, didnt even work
56k modem - was blown


ive had to rebulid the computer my self, i have spent over £500 on it

sony tft monitor - £275

thats 579.97 of my money spent, ive also bought otherbits for it, but im only putting the things which i had to buy cause of YOU mark!

i reccommend not dealing with this guy, he seems a nice guy but hes dis honest and a con

i praised him cause i fought it was working but then with the problems i fought they where minor maybe a cable out of place, but it turned out it wasnt the case,

if im not going to get any support on this then fine but i have warned you about him, last famous words

The trouble is with people who lied on numerous cases in the past that when something real does happens they tend not to get taken seriously.
