It was actually the Romans that drove most of them out
Quote from The Department of Jewish Zionist Education-

"The Romans, who defeated the Jews and destroyed the Second Temple, in no way forced the Jews to leave the land. The only ones whom they actually "exiled" were a few of the militant leaders of the revolt who were taken to Rome to meet their deaths; the rest were allowed to stay."

After the death of King Solomon, Israel split into 2 kingdoms -"Israel" with their capital up in Samaria, and "Judah" with their capital at Jerusalem.

The first to go was the northern kingdom of Israel whose fall to the Assyrians was completed by 721 BC. The Assyrian capital was Nineveh. They were defeated and transported away into permanent exile, becoming known to Bible History as the "Lost Ten Tribes of Israel."

2100 BC God promises Abraham many descendants
2000 BC Jacob (Israel) is born
1910 BC Joseph sold into slavery
    1446 BC Exodus begins
1406 BC Israel begins establishing itself as a country
1400 BC Israel is ruled by judges - not kings
1050 BC Saul becomes Israel's first king
1010 BC David becomes King of Israel
970 BC Solomon becomes king; builds Temple
926 BC Israel becomes a divided kingdom
721 BC Assyrians conquer northern kingdom of Israel
612 BC Babylon conquers Nineveh (Assyrian Empire)
605 BC Babylon exerts influence over Judah
    597 BC Babylon attacks Judah
586 BC Babylon destroys Jerusalem and Temple
586-573 BC Babylon king Nebuchadnezzar attacks Tyre
539 BC Cyrus the Great conquers Babylon
538 BC Cyrus releases Jews from Babylonian Captivity
536 BC Work begins to rebuild Temple
516 BC Second Temple is dedicated

its sad, but given that we have "british" moslems in prison in cuba and that "british" moslems were holding a rally in london at the weekend supporting them and the aims of bin laden etc its barely suprising that we are on the list, if we kicked out the troublemakers only it wouldnt get us off the list, after all how many 5 column "sleepers" are there in mosques around the country?

There are many decent ordinary moslems who would want about as much to do with these ****ers as i do but the sad fact is that the islamic faith is persuing a strong ant western path throughout the world and those normal moslems risk the same fate as those normal moslems who worked in the twin towers.

in connection to another thread i posted on an entirely different subject it may intrest you to know that more non moslem children are killed by moslems in this country each year than are killed by ped0philes (classing children as under 18's in this case)

    Default what about this

They have already declared their war on us , it's time we declared our war on them .

Europe is so infested , it may be beyond salvation .

There are steps we can take to limit the casualties though .

1 -Muslims/Arabs must register with whichever state they live in with current addresses and phone numbers ( failure to do so would be akin to Parole violation and subject to imprisonment and deportation ) .

2 - Muslims/Arabs are not allowed to board commercial flights and ships , period .

3 - Muslims/Arabs living in western countries must report directly to local authorities weekly and willingly have their telephones and e-mails monitored or leave the country .

4 - Crimes comitted by Muslims/Arabs willbe sentenced 10 fold the usual punishment for a citizen of that country with more than a 10 year sentence equalling life imprisonment or death sentence depending on local statutes .

5 - Arab / Muslims must bow down and keep their face in the dirt when other citizens of the country they reside in pass by . Failure to do so will grant said citizen the right to humiliate or beat the Arab/Muslim in public or have him imprisoned and flogged just like the laws in the Islamic countries .

6 - Arabs/Muslims must live in subservient roles i.e. housekeepers , janitors , garbagemen and other demeaning positions and must pay 25% of their income in a special taxes to be allowed to exist .

7 - Any Arab/Muslim who disrespects the religion in any way , shape or form , should be executed immediately without trial or attorney present .

8 - Any three witnesses against the Arab/Muslim will be considered truth and they will then be subject to the aforementioned laws .

9 - Any Arab/Muslim who attempts to preach or spread his religion in another country will be imprisoned and possibly executed depending on the decision of the local people .

10 - Any Arab/Muslim who violates any community standard , practices adultery or pornagrophy or engages in the use of illegal drugs or alchohol is subject to the aforementioned punishments and other punishments under western law , not excluding any kind of torture , but to include hobbling , caning and flogging .

With the exception of law #2 , these laws are the exact laws that are practiced in Islamic countries and if you think they are ridiculous or misleading , then you have never been to an Islamic country and have no idea what you are talking about .

    some more from same site.

And now it is beginning . The British Muslims , who they so feverishly defend , are threatening to overthrow England and make it an Islamic state if America attack Iraq .
Well done England . You have enbraced your destruction with open arms .

    By Dominic Casciani
BBC News Online community affairs reporter

Radical Islamist group Al Muhajiroun tried to issue a decree to British Muslims - but didn't get very far.

Margaret Thatcher famously once decided that she was going to deny the IRA the "oxygen of publicity" by censoring Sinn Fein on the airwaves.
Many years later a very different group, viewed by government with similar disdain, managed to suffocate itself without any help at all - despite journalists being ready and willing to hear what they had to say.

Al Muhajiroun, a small, radical Islamist outfit, called us to a delightful central London hotel to tell us all about its fatwa, a religious edict, on what it believed Muslims should do in the even of an attack on Iraq.

Sheikh Omar said that if any of you declare the Shahada [profession of Muslim faith] you are welcome to come in.

    Anjem Choudary of Al Muhajiroun
Since September 11 this group has commanded media time despite being on the fringe of Islamic thought.

It has called for a British Islamic state and attacked the West over the war in Afghanistan. The invitation to this event described the US's campaign as a "crusade against Muslims".

What made this meeting important was, in Al Muhajiroun's words, "the most radical" speakers of the hardline fringe would be speaking together - a rare opportunity indeed.

Inside the room were Abu Hamza al-Masri, the one-eyed, one-armed north London cleric who is said to have received his injuries fighting the Soviets in Afghanistan; Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammad, the self-styled head of the UK Sharia Court; Saudi dissident Dr Muhammad Al-Massari and Yasser al-Siri, a London bookseller who recently beat off a US attempt to have him extradited over alleged links to al-Qaeda.

    Entrance fee

Then, as journalists approached the door to the hotel's Stockholm Suite, the group's leader Anjem Choudary demanded £30 per head to hear the hardliners speak.

Charge: Speakers debate whether to let us in

The demand was met by indignant stares and flat refusals.

"We have got Muslim leaders from all over the country together for you," he said. "We think it's reasonable to ask you to pay for the privilege of hearing them speak."

"Well, we'll just have to boycott your press conference then," said one reporter.

"You are most welcome," said Mr Choudary. "It is a nice day outside."

With camera lens pointing through the gaps in the doors, Mr Choudary re-emerged.

"How exactly do you expect us to report this if you are not going to let us in the room?" came the question.

"Sheikh Omar said that if any of you declare the Shahada [profession of Muslim faith] you are welcome to come in."

So with a sizeable detachment of the British and foreign media camped outside, Sheikh Omar Bakri and co began preaching to the converted in the shape of supporters already on the inside.

If Al Muhajiroun was going to convince the British public that it was at the vanguard of a revolution, it was going to have a hard job doing it without telling the media.

    Books for sale

After a few minutes, an earnest-looking young man wheeled out a trolley of books in the vain hope that reporters would part with cash by other means.

"What are they are about?" we asked.
"Er, they are written by Abu Hamza," he replied.
    "Have you read them?"
    "Er, no," he conceded.
"I don't think my expenses will cover this," explained one reporter.

The earnest-looking young man wheeled the books back inside.

    Departures and chaos

At midday, Sheikh Omar Bakri, the cleric most closely associated with the group, left.

Abu Hamza spies our camera through the door

He proved to be remarkably taciturn. "No fatwa today," he declared as he was driven off.

Another hour passed and the rest suddenly emerged.

As Abu Hamza and his supporters attempted to leave, the discreet reception of the Euston Plaza Hotel was engulfed in chaos.

His supporters jostled with journalists, chairs were scattered, equipment dropped and bodies painfully wedged in revolving doors.

Eventually, the fatwa did come - but only by fax. It declared that an attack on Iraq was one on all Muslims. Muslims should fight their "common enemies" but, crucially, toned down some of the harsher anti-western rhetoric that had described the US as "the head of Satan".

Ah ogorish forums that world famous source for truth. news and the facts - somehow brings to mind the expression 'I read it on the internet - it must be true !'

It could be true I have 'no idea what I am talking about' but not because I haven't visited any Islamic countries. If you could find the source behind this article - I suspect it's adapted from a Islamic religious 'law' known as Sharia - then I think your case would be better made.

Not sure about the trusting their leaders bit as the Koran, like many religious texts, has been translated into many languages. The parrot fashion line - well the missus who was dragged up a Catholic knows some latin learnt parrot fashion at school I have tried to translate it for her I think it means will cook delicious meals and give regular blow jobs but somehow I suspect she don't believe me.

thats odd because i learned latin at school, and i was at a quaker school, so i'm guessing there might be something wrong with your statement there digi, for what its worht only high mass was celebrated in latin in catholic churches and at the time that latin was more common in the catholic church it was also taught in schools so each INDIVIDUAL could translate it for themselves (that of course was back in a time when you got an education at school, rather than what you get today).

oh and to this day i still sing adeste fideles at christmas time even if all around are singing oh come all ye faithful so i guess there are still some of us around who can still use latin, i'd bet there are still more people around the world today who can handle latin better than can handle gaelic or even welsh, oh and learning parrot fashion at school is called learning by rote and it is still the best way to teach children something you want them to remember, and yes, it can also be used for indoctrination / brainwashing too, the result is the same, the difference is one produces a child that is keen to learn more, the other produces a robot that does as its told.

i'd have gone with 4me2's answer, but it proves my point that there are people who know latin out there, wether they are catholics or not so there are plenty of ordinary church goers who can translate the latin mass for themselves if they need to, but sadly it seems many moslems in this country seem to struggle to speak our language let alone bother to learn arabic, so they just do as they are told (like on polling day)
