Hello all!
Does anyone know what wattage the Xbox is rated at?
Im looking to get a DC-DC PC ATX PSU to replace the (pain-in-the-ass) invertor that is currently fitted in my car. I can get a 90W or a 150W.
Many thanks!

Can't you just look at the underside of the xbox?
lol......I did try that first!! Im not that lazy The box we have at work here is real old grubby one, a version 1.0 I think and it hasn't got a rating on it.
I will have a look at my box at home and see if its any different.............
Does yours give a rating then?
I don't actually have an xbox, I was just guessing that the wattage would be on a sticker on the base.
The X-Box doesn't have a wattage rating on the sticker next to the mains socket, but it does have a current rating which is 1.2 Amps
Using Ohms law (Volts x Amps = Watts), we can now work out that the X-Box has a power consumption of 288 Watts.
wicked! ta mate....should have known that really! :whistle
So am I right in thinking that this:
