    Default X -Box Discs

I have a very pickie drive on my Box when it comes to chipped games.

Any ideas in what discs I could use that wont cost an arm or a leg?

Re-writables seem to work OK but dont wanna spend megabucks for summat that may not work.

    Catch my drift?

If you got a dvd-r drive then it has to be Neo DvD-r 3rd gen - simply excellent

I have some nice white label disks that work 100% on my XBOX but go nuts on one of my mates. The Neo DVDR work on every box we have tested so far. They may be more expensive, but with that you get quality

As the Gab says, if you feel comfortable with replacing your drive with a PC DVD-ROM drive then your all set as he says they will read every type of media you can try in them, plus they load faster too.

But if you dont want to replace your drive then it has GOT to be neo,s m8 as evilbob says they are a bit more expensive, but the quality is simply superb and are well worth the dosh

PC drives make a hell of a racket reading cds though. I personally burn everything onto dvdr, even rips.

Some of the cheaper dvd-r may well work with the xbox you have but within a couple of months all the cheaper ones I have, have started playing up and failing to load.
