    Default Freeloader delayed again !!

I just spoke to CodeJunkies and they say maybe NEXT WEEK now, but can't confirm, this is crazy. I am convinced Nintendo are try to block it to increase sales of Mario and RE in the UK.

That's stupid. Most of the people who know about freeloader have already bought or preordered US/JAP games, so it's not gonna help their sales much. I think it's just about time we started getting simultaneous US/Europe releases, it would surely save Nintendo a lot of money on trying to stop imports/piracy.

Also, for frigs sake, Datel really need to get their arses in gear.

apparently resident evil has caused them a problem, prolly cos its over two disks...and they cant figure out how to use the machines...i think.

Datel say that the freeloader is completed but Nintendo are worried that it might allow users to play copied.pirate games, so therefore Nintendo are carying out many test to see if thats true.

Why? Do you really think the average high street dude is:

    1. Even heard of Import Games?
or 2. Even know where to buy copies of US Resident Evil?

The market for Freeloader users and the market that will be buying RE in the UK is completely different IMO

its finished, its been finished for weeks, its tested, its been tested for weeks, it could possibly be datel and their equipment but that works, so my best guess (and it is a guess, no solid info on this one) is that its actualy the ar thats holding things up, it has to do all the freeloader stuff + all the ar stuff, my bet is they STILL havent got it working and dont want freeloader out before the ar, after all how many people will pay the £30 for the ar only to discover that it DOES NOT WORK ON IMPORT MACHINES then have to go out and buy the freeloader as well whereas if people can buy the freeloader first then not many will bother with getting an ar as well, datel want the extra sales.

as i say i could be wrong as i havent spoken to anyone for a good couple of weeks for one reason or another.

John's right, the average dude doesn't know what either the FreeLoader or an import is. Sales won't be any different at all because of the FreeLoader.

The rumor at the moment is that Datel will be making a statement on Monday about Freeloader. We will have to wait and see.

personally i think the AR is the one to go for (since it has the Freeloader built into it and at only £10 more) - but i have Resident Evil (USA) here waiting for me to play so if the Freeloader will be out a month before the AR then i will have to buy them both i think
You know he grew up as a little shitspark from the old shitflint and then he turned into a shitbonfire and driven by the winds of his monumental ignorance he turned into a raging shitfirestorm. If I get to be married to Barb I'll have total control of Sunnyvale and then I can unleash the shitnami tidal wave that will engulf Ricky and extinguish his shitflames forever. And with any luck he'll drown in the undershit of that wave. Shitwaves.

    Default Freeloader

I was told today by Play that the freeloader is being delivered to them on tuesday, and they are shipping it out on friday. She said this was the first time Datel had told them that it was going to ship on a date, so she reckons this is the most likely release date yet. Just thought i`d put this in.
    Can but hope
