Default Sean Waltman 'Pacs' his bags

Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman and the WWE have parted ways, it has been revealed.

This week's Ross Report on WWE.com contains the following brief statement from Jim Ross :

"WWE and Sean Waltman, aka X-Pac, have mutually agreed to part ways. Personally, Sean is one of my all-time favorite people in our business and one hell of a talented in-ring performer. I truly wish him nothing but success in the future."

Waltman and the WWE haven't seen eye to eye for some time - a few weeks ago, Waltman was booked to work Heat only for him to refuse, citing an injury as to why he couldn't perform on Heat and Raw. Waltman hasn't been seen on TV since the nWo angle was aborted.

Many insiders predicted it would only be a matter of time until the WWE released Waltman, and they have now been proved right. It's expected that he may go to Japan to work, as the NWA-TNA may not have the financial clout to make a move for him.

He should have got stuck into the task at hand instead of hiding behind Nash and hall. No great loss to the wrestling world

    From wrestlezone.com
There are ongoing talks right now between X-Pac's represenatives and NWA-TNA. Several sources claim it wouldn't be a surprise to see X-Pac debut, most likely under the name "Syxx-Pac" in NWA-TNA on their September 18th show...

Sean Waltman, formerly known as X-Pac, currently known as Syxx-Pac, along with Diamond Dallas Page recently showed up at the New Japan Dojo in Los Angeles. They were there to meet with Joanie "Chyna" Laurer, former WWE superstar, who has been currently working with the New Japan promotion. Waltman looks to be working with New Japan now, on a short-term basis, since being released from WWE. DDP obviously won't be working for the promotion due to his recent retirement
