    Default listing the contents of a hard disc

    I need an application for listing the contents of a hdd to a text file.
    can anyone recommend a good one?

    You don't need anything fancy.

    At the command prompt, type DIR /s >drvcont.txt (or whatever filename you want) and bingo

    There is also a prog called PowerDesk made by Ontrack that allows you to copy a directory listing and paste it into a text file or whatever you want.
