Default Been Pulled ? Rules of engagement!

Here’s my advice to anyone being pulled by the cops (includes some tips from a traffic cop himself).....
    1) Switch engine/lights off, this makes them more comfortable with the fact that you are not gonna do a runner, burn off and leave them with either an empty black book after pulling someone, or doing a high speed chase after a ”twocky” or armed robbers
    2) walk towards the police car (NOT in an aggressive manner shouting fuking pigs, bastards this etc etc), as soon as they get out, let them speak first (dont wanna admit to something else as well as what they pulled you for).
    3) Right, you can usually tell what you are getting done for with their first sentence, usually something cocky like "do you know what the speed limit is round here" or what is your number plate supposed to say, or "can you see that sign down there" (pointing) or "where's the fog" (classic for if you are driving with fog lights on cause they look "cool").
    4) Slag yourself off with them(without sounding like a total window licker) like...."I know, I should know better" or "I dont know what I was thinking, I should concentrate more". They like this kind of thing, also agreeing with them makes them feel superior, "you're right officer (or they like sir too, sign of respect) you're totally right, I am an idiot" etc etc “I will be more careful in future” blah blah blah
    5) lastly DON’T pull off wheel spinning and hand brake it at the first half decent corner, let them pull away first if possible (but don’t wait for like a half hour or they will prolly get suspicious and pull u again)

Ands that’s how to get away with it, sure, you have called yourself and idiot and them sir and totally licked their arse which if you have the wrong temperament you wont be able to confine yourself to hold it in, but if you do you will prolly be £30-100 better off (if it is a higher fine than this, it prolly means it was quite serious offense and you’re not gonna get away with it any way you slice it or no matter how much brown nosing you do) and prolly 3-6 points lighter on your licence so not a bad result for 2 mins worth of self degradation me thinks.

PS. And when in dout, say NOWT !

I disagree with all of this Morph.

Take my advise kids, the best thing to do is pull your piece and blow the mother away.

mmmm - dont usually keep my guns in the car though

If you do deicde to stay seated in the car and let them walk over, if they ask you if you can identify yourself, dont look in the mirror and say "thats me!"

kissing ass does work. i got pulled in the mrs car racing my m8. i wheelspun out of the petrol station and didnt see the pig. i was in a national speed limit when i overtook my mate but then it dropped to a 30. i was still doing about 80mph. (which was silly. DONT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS). i pulled up at the lights and a copper came up my arse and pulled me over. i managed to get away with 3 points and a small fine. but at that speed i expected a ban. i deserved it. but kissing ass does work.

and for the books so does speeding off ive done that aswell but they were in a shitty pug

is it true that, when they ask u if u have any docs on you (ie insurance and license etc) they have to do u for something?

someone once told me that if they ask u, u should also say no, then they have no choice to just giv u producer.

?? any thoughts on that one?

Not true m8 , wish it was though !
But i have heard that it is better to 'withhold' your documents at the roadside , as at times the pigs do get busy and information is lost in the system . If they have your licence then they are more likely to take more care of it and the necessary documentation applied .

P.S dont wheel spin off from the police , i did once and got a careless driving charge after getting done for speeding . I was then pulled again by the same copper just down the road for littering , as he had pissed me off so much , i tore the charge sheet up and threw it out of the car window . I then got a reckless driving charge driving home later (same area) as i was totaly pissed off with getting 'done' and decided to reach almighty speeds in a car that i was totaly too immature to handle and shouldnt have been allowed to own at the time .
A lesson well learned , big day in court and i got bolloxed big time .
Ah well , clean licence now at the moment , apart from the dr10 that is .

a fine is much better than points anyday. If u get points ur insurance goes sky high and u find its hard to get another car with cheap insurance.

I say keep ur cool, and whatever u do dont pray and beg. Begging is the worst thing that can happen. If you are calm and nice to the bloke there is a chance he will give u a good slap on the wrist and let u go. i got caught doing 45mph in a 30 zone and the speed camera was set at 40mph. i know people who have been caught doing 35mph in a 30 zone and had worse than me.

My m8 was lucky he was on his way home and some car was driving real close behind him so he put his foot down and did 60mph in a 30 zone. Lost them down the backstreets and on his way home they spotted him and pulled him over. He got same as me £60 fine and 3 points on license. I am still waitin for my 3 points to go and wishing now i had my no claims bonus's.

*sigh* its all down to luck i say, either the cop is a moody ****er or one which is sound. The camera might be behind the next corner or in a bus shelter or what u dont know its all down to luck i thinks if they are or aint. I got to say i have been saved by many old people on the roads doing 28mph in a 30 zone and made me slow down. I should be banned but so far i aint. Hopefully the speed camera i burned passed didnt see him as i was behind someone. dont fancy another 3 points.

With NO disrespect to previous posters, My tuppence would be that, while it would be stupid to diss the pr!cks, it as EQUALLY as stupid to let them think they have one over you. The Police\pigs\pr!cks\rozzers etc etc etc are as human as YOU and ME, which means they have the same insecurities and chips on their shoulders as WE do, maybe even more so. I've gave the Police NOTHIN but a hard time, which means, they think twice before stopping me, don't get me wrong, I took some sh!t from them in the process but believe me, it was WELL worth while. My mates ALWAYS say the same thing if they are in a car with me when I get stopped, "shut up for f*ck sake and don't get us lifted" I give not a monkeys f*ck whether they are hidin behind a uniform, or not, they take the p!ss, I take it RIGHT back. I drive a Yellow Porsche which, as far as our local plod are concerned makes me a drug dealer and askin for attention, right? Yeah, WAS right till I decided I was f*cked anyhow, whats to lose? Give em it tight, give em it with passion and you'll win in the end, believe me, you WILL. They want to pick on some poor pratt that gives em "yes sir, no sir" They want NOTHIN to do with the ones that KNOW their rights and DON'T take their shit. Give it a go. I DON'T mean give em abuse and sh!t if they dig you, I mean let em away with NOTHIN and you'll be glad you did.

I've got pics of all the rest but even though I've had this one the longest I've never gotten round to taking any pics of it, dunno why, well..................yeah, I do, it's never clean the last time it was washed was over a year ago and it was my mate that done it to try and shame me into looking after it, which obviously didn't work. I'll make a point of washing it this week and take some pics. I think the other reason I never took any pics is the fact I didn't like how it looked, I bought it because I liked how it was engineered and how it drove.

Anyone old enough to remember the bit on the old style licence that used to say "Tear along the dotted line" ? Jeeeeeeeeez! Did the police hate you quoting that to them! I used to have a racing licence too and waited a long long time for a traffic cop to ask if "I had a race licence", only to find the pr!ck had the same sense of humor as my left bollock. I got 3 points and a £30 fine for a baldy tyre, but..........I just KNOW he never asked anyone else that question again! :-)
