I think this is the right place to post this.
I want to set up a server in my house, I've had a look at windows home server and windows server 2008.
I want the server to control 3 pc's, 2 laptops and a media center, and the possiblity of streaming from the server to an xbox360.
I like the features of windows home server, esp the pc backups, media server and accessing documents anywhere. Plus it looks really easy to use with the windows home console.
I'd ideally want to be able to run ms exchange on the server so I dont need to keep paying the hosting company for my exchange email and this way will allow me to add more users.
However from what I've been reading windows home server does not work with exchange. Is there any way to get all the features of windows home server on server 2008? or to get exchange working on home server?
I've also seen small business server 2008 has exchange included, can any of the home server features be used on business server 2008.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
