    Default Slow graphics with XP

    Hi
    i am running windows xp.
    with a msi k7420n mobo,
    256ddr/xp1800.
It has nforce ddr on board,32meg.
is there any way i can allocate mor memory to
    the video side of things.
Like when playing gta3 or should i say trying to play,
    it is very jerky.
On my other system which is a
    elite k7s5a mobo,
    256 sdram,
    xp1700
    tnt2 32meg video.
    runs not to bad.
    thanks

No. And you woudnt want to even if you could as the memory on your graphics card is much faster than the System RAM. If you assigned it more memory from the RAM it would cripple it as all the memory would have to be running at the speed of the slowest part. There must be some driver issues - what is the chip set fo the graphics card you are using ?
