    Default Bandwidth meter

can anyone point me in the direction of a good bandwidth usage meter?

    needs:

    free
relatively small file (well.... at least below 5 megs or sommat)
    works on XP
    works with Dial Up
can tell me connection speeds/amount downloaded/amount uploaded/amount of time online etc

i want to be able to leave it running in a corner of my desktop in a small window, for quick reference etc...

anyone got/or know of a proggy that does all that and is free?

    cheers

ye.. downloaded a few and gave em a try, DU meter is good... very configurable and lots loggin options, tho no matter if ive turned off all the options/reasons for the meter to connect (pinging etc) it keeps bloody tryin to connect when im off line... need to keep messing with it see if i can stop it doing that.. or just close it down.....

any way.. cheers for the links

doughboy - I download like 60 - 80Gb a week!!! and ur there on 21days and 50Gb LMAO!!! DU Meter is GOOD however people ONLY say its good because its VERY simple to use. Nearly all Bandwith meters log or track the ammount u download or upload.

I have used DU meter several times and i got to say its good the ONLY part of it i like is the output to excel spreadsheet
