Damn right, Newcastle were sooo lucky, i can't believe we chucked away that lead, especially with the 20 odd chances at goal we had. A least we didn't lose

That was a wicked game to watch, just got in from the pub.

The bar went nuts when Shearer scored

Liverpool are showing the same problems as last season.
We need to hold onto our advantages and kill a team off.

I just don't know what happened...

Pity Liverpool didn't score all of those "sitters" that passed us by.

2 points lost. Liverpool could have completely buried them, finishing and Abel Xavier let us down.

Abel Xavier, Evertonian in disguise; mission accomplished.

Good game, good game. We should of won it much earlier . Fair play to the geordies, senile bob made an inspired triple substitution and it worked a dream. Micky O was looking better (apart from the hatful of sitters he missed, but he was creating good chances). X Man looked like a fish out of water as soon as Robert and Bellamy started to use their pace against him - which was a shame.
I generally refrain from slating players, but I have given Xavier a fair amount of time to find his feet, but as soon as any wingers with any skill run against him, he is fcuking lost.

thought pool should have scored in the first half, but in the second we came fighting back. was gutted when the first went in, wtf was shay thinkin of, total gift of a goal, and nikos whos normaly solid as a rock just lost his head a bit, but the alan goal, well just went bonkers, then totaly shat it for the rest of the game expecting another comeback at anfield to be quashed and me whimpering into me pint like the old 4-3 days

nice to hear that word "entertainers" asociated with the toon again, and another absolute thriller for the neutrals, blatently the fixture of the season.

terrible result, we had the game in the bag and then bam..... 3 attackers brought on. Obvious tactics by the Geordies.......... attack attack attack.
So what do we do.......... bring on attackers !!!! loose the plot and concede 2 goals and just manage the draw.

Hats off to Shearer............. he was a handfull all night.
    Dyer.......... not impressed

Owen.......... bag full of chances ..please just get 1 or 2 of them.
Hamman....... A1, invisible player, you just dont notice how much he does on the pitch.
Stevie G....... played well, thought he was injured at end of 1st half.(guess who wont be playing against Portugual)
Djimi Troare........ (cant remember how to spell it) I`ve give this guy a bit of stick over the last few months/games but last night was his best performance in a red shirt.
Cornileious (sorry Abel Xavier) hhmmmm strong points and weak points... shame his weak points came out last night.
    Hyypia........ nuff said

I think its a very interesting start to the season and before most contenders go on a run, we (liverpool) are missing vital oppurtunities to sneak a lead for when we have our slump. (usually end of Oct)

i thinks thats the most important goal shearer has scored in ages, he only seems to score when newcastle are sitting on a result

superb goal, superb timing and genuine passion in the celebration unlike against that euro cl game last week where he looked suicidle after scoring

The reds had that game in the bag they will have to learn quickly
to kill off the opposition and put away their chances especially
Owen Thought Didi & Stevie played superb.
