GTA3 "Infinite loop" error

Hello.

I have a slow computer, its just under the min specs but should still be playable:

Intel 434Mhz
256MB Ram
Voodoo 3

I get an "Infinite loop" bluescreen (or is it black, cant remember) error and I need to reboot my computer. I just thought it was because of my slow computer (hell yes I'm poor!) but I am starting to think its not.

Anyone know how to correct this issue, oh its the DEViANCE Release

Thanks i will go throw stones at DMA. (Rockstar) they are 5 minutes away from my house.
