i'm having problems with getting the crack to work with the ISO version...can someone post the exact steps they took to install/crack theirs?

* Run lmtools.exe ( it should be in C:\AW\COM\BIN )
* At the Systems Settings tab, copy your Ethernet address
- also know as your HOSTID
* Copy aw.dat from /crack on the cd and paste it into
C:\AW\COM\ETC
* Edit aw.dat, replacing "your_host" with your HOSTID
f.x. HOSTID=your_host --> HOSTID=0123456789ab
* Copy awkeygen.exe from /crack on the cd and paste it into
C:\AW\COM\ETC
* Start a MS-Dos shell, go to C:\AW\COM\ETC
( type "CD AW\COM\ETC" and press Enter )
* Type "awkeygen aw.dat" and press Enter
* Start Maya !

i tried this...and it didnt work...

when i install, i dont have

C:\AW\COM\BIN

Only Maya related directory is in Program files but there's no COM\BIN dir.

Can someone please tell me exactly what options to check when installing...i know i skipped the shaders on install...does this affect it?

Please help...hate to keep asking questions but this isnt working for me

that u didnt install shaders shoudnt be a prob.
i u cant c ur HostID do the following:
Go to Start, Program Files, Aliaswavefront, cOmmon Utilities and execute: FlexLMlicense utilities
when that opens, go to system settings. the Ethernet Adress is ur hostid. now put that in ur aw.dat file. execute command prompt, type 'awkeygen.exe aw.dat'*
then ur ready.

* is assume that u coppied the keygen etc to ur c:\ drive.

The 2nd CD is Tutorials n Docs, its only worth getting if you are having probs using maya.
