Napster is now officially dead thanks to a judge in Delaware. The judge determined that he would not allow the company Bertelsmann to buy the music swapping company despite already having invested $85m into it.

Music companies determined to kill off the company once and for all filed motions objecting to the sale of the company.

Napster has now been forced into bankruptcy and all the remaining workers have been fired.
