    Located under the removable panel in front of the gear change lever? Can i have play with anything interesting.If it's relevant there is only one socket fitted,to the near side.

    unless you have the computer to connect to it you won't get very far, there aint alot you can do with it anyway so i wouldn't even bother. its for diagnostics and stuff.

    That i kinda figured.Can i access the eeprom contained with in the ecu? What is the software required and can i access the oddometer reading from here?

    On the later vectras the mileage can be altered using this port .
    On earlier models the chip had to be removed from the back of the dash and reprogrammed that way .
