Monitor Blown up!

Help! I can just about see what im typing so excuse any typoz!

Anyway, all of a sudden, my monitor has gone, everything on the screen is just in purple and blue... NO shades of green.. my first impression is that the green gun has gone in the tube, as its all purple (just red and blue left) .. has this ever happened to anyone else? Or could it be the gfx card? Im gonna take my monitor round to my mates in a bit to check it out.. arghhhhhhhh!!!

check the cable as well if possible in case one of the dsub pins is bent since the colour signals are all carried separately...
