Default New Server M$ SBS 2008 Standard

    Guys,

Have purchased a new HP ProLiant server, with M$ Small Business Server 2008 standard edition. Have also purchased extra CAL's. However this server is to take the place of a old XP machine ( which was acting as a file server ). There will be about 8 people which will need access to the new sever, so I'm thinking about setting up the server with AD as opposed to a workgroup, for the extra security it brings, but never used SBS 2008 before, it's somewhat different from Windows 2003 Server standard. of which I'm used to. So my questions are :-

    1. After the new fresh installation has finished, what are the next steps to take ??

I was thinking, install SBS 2008 standard, then do a update from MS site ..Once done what do I need to do next ?? Add roles ??? Promote the server ???

Any steps and advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    DTM
