Default Any Bandit Owners out there?

    Guys and Gals

Any out there that own a Suzuki Bandit? Dont matter the model or year or condition, I am the Kent Rep for the Bandit Owners Club of Great Britain, and the club is expanding every day. It only costs a fiver a year to join, and you get discounts with about 20 dealers/manufacturers. Worth it for the ride outs and also other things like free entry to shows such as BMF etc...

The club is run by members and all money gets put back in for things like camping gear, weekend away food etc.. and its a good excuse to pis$ off for the weekend and get absolutly rat ar$ed....

i was instructing in Harrow today and in the shop where i'm based there was a new employee in the clothing dept. SHE rides a very trick bandit 1200, emerald green metallic paint, green powder coated wheels, gold anodised flat bars, swing arm, nuts & bolts. it also has a blue flame pipe.

it looked really smart as she pulled a wheelie outside the shop and held it up for a good 150 metres before she had to put the wheel down to stop at some lights................................. what a woman!!!!!!!!!

Mine did the same, most people take the side casings off and polish them, it gives it a good look, but its a bugger to keep shiney, others have the casings powder coated

Shiny, Oh no dont do shiny
I love polished rims and i know what you mean about polishing cases but to be honest I'd rather ride the thing than clean it
I think PJ1 do a colour to match the bandit, the whole engines is looking rough now, it's rained on me since the day i picked it up 6 years ago how the hell do other people keep them clean, thats what I want to know

Hard work, dont know about 1200 engines, as both my 600 and 750 bandits are silver engines, but I use a bottle of stuff I got down my local bike shop, similar to "muck off"... hose the bike down, then spray it on, then wash off, its a degreaser as well, and used with a brush can get in the fins quite nicely....
