    Default Trojan Remover

Does anyone know of any good trojan remover? I had Trojan Remover v 4.8.2, and norton AV told me i had a trojan horse on my PC but the trojan remover didnt pick it up?!? I still think there could be a trojan on my pc, even though I have deleted the file.

These are two of the best I've found:-

    Anti Trojan 5.5

    Agnitum Tauscan

I've upped the serials / cracks for both :-

    Here

    Hope they help

yeh, i downloaded the trojan off Kazzaa Lite (stupid i know), the trojan was hidden under a software package i wanted!
one query i have with the trojan remover, when scanning for any open ports, it displays 'Port 5000 open. Possible trojans. Sockets de Troie, Blazer 5' What does this mean? and at the end of the scan it says i havent got any trojans.?

It just means those are the trojans known to frequent that port gazz it doesn't mean you have those trojans.

Are you running a firewall ?

Gazforth are you running windowsxp, if you are then that is the reason that port 5000 is open. It is easy enough to shut if you can be bothered.

Yeah I thought you must be as it is as it is a problem associated with xp. I will PM you a document (it will be late afternoon though as I don't have access to it till then) that shows you how to shut off all the non-essential processes the xp starts as standard and which also shuts the 5000 port in the process. It also speeds up your computer aswell as it stops all the unnecessary drains on your resources.
