How to put DVD Region X - Version 2 onto X-BOX Hard Drive?
I currently have Evolution X installed on my X-Box and was wondering how I could install DVD Region X and therefore not have to keep booting from the disc.
Any help greatfully accepted...

Place the files into a folder and call it 'dvdx' (or whatever), then ftp to your xbox E partition.
Add a link to your .ini file

the new evo-x had a link already built in to boot from the f drive i think

you will need to have your Bios flashed with the EvolutionX v2.3 bios m8 so you can use the eject trick, otherwise you will have to put the DVD in at the EvolutionX main screen or start the x-box with the DVD already in there - nothing major just a little point

I have created the folders, dumped the info and edited my evox.ini file as shown below.

When I go to the apps screen on Evo-X, I can see the GBA, but there is no entry for DVDX. Am I doing something wrong?
Do I need to load it as I would the GBA or do I have to just put a DVD in the drive and the X-BOX/EVO-X will take care of it?

Hi,
I have removed the # symbol and the "DVDX" option is now visible on my Apps screen of Evo-X.
However, when I select it, instead of running DVD Region X, it just pops back to the main Evo-X menu. Am I doing something wrong or you think that my default.xbe data may be wrong?
Can anyone send me the complete DVD Region X v.2 files . I have a 50mb e-mail account. jasonlee@totalise.co.uk
