I recently accquired a telewest cable digital box at a car boot sale and tried to connect it via my broadband cable, but as i do not have a smartcard i cannot see any channels, is there anyway i can create my own card thru a programmer, i only want the free channels (bbc1 etc.)

if you only want the free channelsjust plug the cable line straight into the tv. it will only be the analogue ones but if you only want the free to air its alot less stress
