    Hi tef,

In ZA you get a report(generally every 5mins) when someone scans you, agnitum doesn't , is there setting i can activate where i can be notified of attacks when they happen.

Also i've been using ad-aware for removing spyware, this program scans for it then asks you if you want to delete it.How does agnitum deal with spyware.

    thanks for anyhelp.

Because the Attack Warnings are more often than not non-malicous Agnitum doesn't continually tell you about them in the same way that ZA does - instead if you click on Attack Detection it will give you a full list of all alerts along with what type of alert (port scan / connection request etc) as they are happenning going all the way back to the beginning of your session.

I also use addaware - Agnitum will warn you whenever a process wants to talk to the net (as does ZA) and the same rules as ZA apply - you can either give it permission or stop it.

If you want to test a firewall this site is useful:-

    Shields Up

No worries Aware - Yeh the way I get 135 to be closed is to temporarily deny the site from talking to svhost.exe when the message pops up

You can run the update if you'd like but as you guessed all it will do is remove the cracked .dll file - then you can just re-apply the original cracked .dll file again (making sure Agnitum is not running)
