Few Stupid Newbe Questions

Hi,

I have just bought an X-box and I have ordered the Matrix chip, my question is when I have the matrix chip installed will I beable to boot copied dvd games and cd rips on my xbox?

I also want to play my divx collection of movies I have all of these on cdr, how do I go about playing these on the Xbox. Is it a matter of just installing the media player. (how do I install media player?)

Final question, I want to play all region dvds on my xbox do I just install dvdx (How do I install it ?)

Before you get flamed, and assuming that you are serious about these questions (and not just being sarcastic), here are some clues:

1. Yes

2. You will need the Xbox Media Player software and some instructions on how to install and use it. Look in your friendly neighborhood newsgroup for the software, and go to xbox-scene.com for a tutorial on how to use it.

3. To play all region DVDs, I believe there is also a piece of software called DVD RegionX out there (don't ask where) and a tutorial on the forementioned website.
