    Default Driving Test Bookings

Apparently ther is backlog of test applications, so that if you book now you will get it for January.
Book one now and you can always cancel (unless u've already got a license in which case your just being stupid!).

The only other way to get one that I know of is by ringing up to check for cancellations.

Ne1 no if this backlog is tru?

P.S. Dont spred it eh, otha wise the backlog will get worse unneccesarily, keep it in DF

Doubt there will be a backlog til January, it varies from area to area. Normally it's around 2-3 weeks.

I think you mean 2-3 months

If you book one now you should get it this year but it's not impossible that some places are booked until next year

My motorbike theory test's took two weeks (I'm taking it this monday)

My motorbike practical is booked for the end of the month (4 weeks waiting).

I know with bikes you can get you instructor to book a test slot on your behalf, thus avoiding the need to do your theory first. I don't know if it works for cars.
