You're right it is about time... I couldn't give a toss about Man Utd, but now he's got his first, I reckon he'll keep scoring... It's good for him, cause it ain't as if his been playing crap, just he ain't got the goal... Until now

    Bollox -

he deserves no 'well dones' at all.

if that had been an english striker he would have took a hell of a lot more stick...

in simple terms - that penalty isnt a goal. they dont count in penalty shoot outs do they! in in my mind until he scores in open play - he still hasnt scored.......after all, thats what people have said of michael owen this season.

he is a waste of space and this one PENALTY doesnt change a thing...he had half a dozen laughable shots last night.....he really was a waste of money yet the media dont seem to want to point it out.

if he had signed for Liverpool - they would havebeen more then happy to point out what a failure he is.

    total boolox.

Yes. FFS it was a penalty against some minnows. He has got a long way to prove he is premiership class.

I'd have loved it if he'd have missed the penalty! As people are saying, anyone can score a penalty. When he scores a few goals (in open play) against decent opposition then I'll say money well spent to Man Utd.

exactly mate - thats what i am saying.....

Heskey is 10 times the player that we have seen of Forlan so far - and this is what pisses me off.

The papers and pundits are more concerned with slating an England international world cup scorer then they are slating a feckin foreign blatent flop.

    1 PENALTY in 27.........hhhmmmmm - not convinced.

    Lets look at the facts.......

forlan is as potent on paper this season as liverpools golden boy!

and if we cast our mind back to the world cup who scored the better goal..... forlan or the old mule "England international world cup scorer" refered to above????

    i rest my case.....

Well Senegal beat france so i think being able to score against that kind of opposition proves what he's capable of!!

He just needed to break his duck! he may not be a finisher like Robbie Fowler or RVN but he's still quality!

    Well done mate!!

More like impotent. The season has only just started. How do the overall facts compare. I think "liverpools golden boy!" is more potent overall.
