T- mobile (contract) free calls after 7pm. (Personal call contract)
    02 - Pay n Go (free txt msg/wap).

way2gud4u : u should change the polls to allow for combinations, as users will choose one contract (when they have 2), giving an unfair score.

As for the best contract, if u dont wanna be tied down.. then go for 02 pay n go, as if u dont top up in the month period, your credit gets transfered, and you use that until it runs out.. you can top up when u want..

    Hope this helps u mate.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Dear O2 Customer,
From September 13th, you should find managing your 02 prepay mobile simpler and easier.

Your top-up will now last a full month from your last top-up date.

If you don't top-up within one month and haven't yet used up all your calltime credit, you'll still be able to use your phone to make and receive calls. You'll just be charged standard tariff rates for text messaging and WAP.

Your free text and WAP allowance will now start from your regular top-up date and will last for one month.

    How does it work?

For instance, if you top-up on the 15th of the month, you'll get a new text and WAP allowance on this date. The 15th is your regular top-up date.

You'll have until the 14th of the following month before it expires.

You'll need to top-up again before the 15th of the following month to get your next free text and WAP allowance.

What happens if I don't top-up again before my regular top-up date?

If you haven't yet used up all your calltime credit, your phone will not be barred. You can still make and receive calls, you'll just be charged standard tariff rates for text and WAP.

Shortly after you top-up again, you'll get a new free text and WAP allocation which will last one month from this date, this is your new regular top-up date.

If you top-up after your regular top-up date it will take up to 24 hours for your free text and WAP allowance to start again. We will send you a text message to confirm when your allowance begins again.

What happens if you top-up before your chosen top-up date?

Your new free text and WAP allocation will always start from your regular top-up date. So if you top-up on the 13th, it will still start again on the 15th and you must top-up again before the 15th of the next month.

Will you remind me when I need to top-up?

    Of course.

We'll send you a text message when you're due to top-up.

When you do, we'll text you on your regular top-up date to confirm that you've topped-up and that your new free text and WAP allowance has started again.

If you miss your top-up date we'll send you a text message to remind you that you're now being charged for text and WAP.

What do I have to do now?

You don't have to do anything. These changes will be applied automatically on September 13th. Your text and WAP allowance are unaffected by this change. In fact it should make it easier to manage your top-ups and free text and WAP allowance.

What if I have any questions?

Please contact us by email: mycare@o2mail.co.uk or by logging on to our extensive help site: www.o2.co.uk and click on 'Help'.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    The standard tariff is :

    WAP via 915000 or +44 7712 927 927 : 10p anytime
Text Message (per message) : 10p anytime

I'm on Orange (contract) but it's been price matched to an old 1-2-1 tarriff so I pay £35 a month and get 300 minutes of talk time or something like that.

Also use a BT Genie pay as you go card for the free WAP and 300 free text messages

And when I'm in Sweden I use a Comviq pay as you go card.
