    Default SoundBlaster Audigy

    I have a Sound Blaster Audigy, but the gameport lead isnt long enough.

    Anyone know where i can get an extension for the lead?

    Why not use a usb gamepad. Thrustmaster do some good ones.

    Yeah but I have got a pad already, I dont wanna buy a new one.

    At the mo I have come to a temporary solution by popping out one of the floppy drive blanking plates. Makes my PC look a bit crappy though so I am still on the hunt for a more permanent solution

    So you want a usb to serial...? You can get the adaptor but because of the differences with usb and other interfaces it will cost you as much as a new game pad (£15+).

    oh well spose i will just leave it as is, only really use it for fifa anyway.

    i just strip down the pad and connector
    buy some same core wire and then resolder the new longer wire up

    it seems to work fine 4 me

    The midi/joypad connector > USB are available they go for about $34.99 here in canada
