Default I'm looking for a new TV. Any Suggestions?

I want a good quality picture for the PS2. I'm looking for a 20-27 inch TV for under 400 dollars. I would like the best picture for it. Thank you for your time.

any known name brand that has component video and/or s-video(most of the new ones) input will likely be a good bet.. im personally looking into one and like the specs of "RCA F27650 27" TV" because of its component video capability and its under $400 US... hope this helps

    :^)

You're not going to get a WEGA for $400 unless you go down around 24" or (probably) smaller. The picture is good, sure, but you're paying 20% extra for the words "Sony Wega."

You should look at a Toshiba (27AF42 flat, 27A42 near-flat). Check around at the comparison sites (www.audioreview.com ,www.consumerreports.org) and you'll see Toshibas rated with or higher than the Sonys. Then go to your friendly local electronics store and watch a DVD on the Toshiba and the Sony side-by-side and compare for yourself. You might have to go to a home theater shop to get them to do this for you, but that doesn't mean you have to buy the set there. :0

Stay away from the pseudo-American brands (RCA, Zenith, etc.). Some of these have GREAT pictures for the money, but they tend to fall apart.
