    Default Uncapping Ntl Modems

    does anyone know how to uncap a ntl modem?, i have the ntl home100 at 600k. much appreciated.

    you can't. heres what i did:

    buy a surfboard cable modem off ebay - around £80. I already had one from a previous ntl subscription

    ring ntl and say a relative has bought you a new cable modem as a gift (or whatever) and register the new mac address of the surfboard.

    plug it all in then vistit http://www.cablemodemhack.com/

    happy d/loading at 10m up/10m down!!!!
