can i just go and rent a DVD game and burn it straight out Right like i do the Blue cd games or is there a Process in doing it

ok well i didnt know cause i know you have to do ripping on DVD Movies so i didnt know if i could just burn the games

To be a little more specific, if you are planning on copying a DVD that you rented, you will of course have to copy it to a DVD-R, unless you rip out some of the content. A DVD cannot be copied directly to a CD-R, even if the content is small enough to fit onto a CD (ie. less than 700MB), because the disc ISO format is different.

Also the DVD games have media checks to see if the data is actually on a DVD so to rip the data so its fittable on a CDR is not enough. You need to remove the media checks.

oh i know about the Checks
but i was wondering about how id go about Taking a Game and Splitting it onto say 2 or 3 discs, is there a Guide out there

cause id need to do this until i can get me a Chip that Plays DVD-rs , unless there is another way to play them,

how do i go about (i heard this that is) doing the Knife Cog method With A Dvdr, or is this just Bogus Info
