Default HP CDRW discs causes cddrive not to open

As soon as I format my HP CDRWs and store stuff onto the cd, it gets stuck in the cd drive. I cant remove the cdrw for some reason. The only way I can remove the cdrw is when I boot up my pc, I have to press eject b4 windowsMil fully load up. WTF is the problem? and how do I solve it?

re-install the buring software? seems like the software is locking up the drive for no reason.

It happens to me also, but you don't have to reboot. Just open directCD and now you can open the drive.
