Batman vs Superman - basic plot info

hi guys

As i am sure you are awaer - this film is on hold temporarily while the individual Superman and Batman films are being made (plus some other shite)

here is the basic plot for the current script under consideration

Apparently the basic story is that Bruce Wayne is about to be engaged when his fiance is killed in a plane accident that somehow involved SUPERMAN trying to save it. Bruce blames SUPERMAN and thus we end up with the two guys going at it for the vast majority of the film, till they figure out that it is the evil Lex Luthor, who set it all up to pit the two against one another hoping that they'd kill each other.

I can't understand making this movie, everyone knows superman would kick batmans sorry ass to death.Are we going to see a huge reduction in supermans powers or something.

read "the dark night returns" to see what happens when Batman and Superman finally bust each other up - its brains/money against super powers - They couldnt make it into a movie (not commerical enough) but its the best.
