After changing the address in Evo-X you need to select save. I think you can use the INI file on the new version to set a static IP

set the ip to "static = yes" and set your ip to 192.168.0.x,

x= a number from 0 to 255 and not equal to any other ip address on your net work..

    search on evox/ ip/ fash/

    cheers

hi, its not working. I put in 192.168.000.100 for the static IP then I pressed back and rebooted. Went into network and it said IP: 192.168.0.100 - Static, so I tried to login with flash FXP and it said

    WinSock 2.0
    Connecting to 192.168.000.222
    Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 120 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

Do I have to change anything on my PC or the default gateway on evo-x? i'm going straight from the box to PC. and it worked before using the other method. Thanks in advance

Dont press back, you need to save first. That should solve it.

    yo dude,

why is it trying 192.168.000.222, (but first you have to do the exit & save as has been said) in flashfxp you have to press F4 then create a new site, call it whatever you want, complete the required ip address, logon name, password...

these can all be found in the evo.ini file, but are typically this

    ip: 192.168.0.3
    name: Evox
    password: xbox

    cheers
