Newbie questions

Hey guys I am thinking of setting up a website and have started looking at webhosts. I haven't set up a web host before and would like some advice about them.

There is no real purpose to the site other than fun so im not anticipating a need for large bandwidth and ideally i'd like to install a wordpress blog on it. Aside from that my only considerations are that it be reasonably reliable and as cheap as possible

I have had a look around and just-host seemed to offer really good deals, but checking them out results in a lot of contradicting information (some saying they are bad, others saying they are good and it is their rivals spreading false information). Given this I thought I would go to a source I trust so if anyone has any real information on them please let me know.

I would also like to ask about google adware credits/coupons as they seem to be listed as features on a lot of hosts websites but I cant really work out what they are.

Google ad vouchers are just credit for advertising on googles pay per click ads. I think it is the ads that appear down the right side of the site in small boxes.

Go with Hostgator m8, they are easy to use and they have a system that installs wordpress for you making it really easy, plus you will get a $75 google voucher too

Thanks guys, Im considering it Det but Im from the UK so it might work out cheaper for me to use an UK hosting site (sometimes banks issue ridiculous exchange rates)
