I did not know where to post but i think this may be the ideal area (although it would be nice if we could have a place for online businesses/advertising and submissions big fella).

This competition will be open to VIP members ONLY, vip members are the ones who help this place keep going and ive had a lot of help personally from many members on here, ive also tried to help as many as i can so i would like to give something back.

Within the next few weeks im going to design an online business which will have a unique product you can sell and keep 100% of the profits, ill install an instant payment and delivery system so everything will be automatic. ill also throw in:

custom website design,
12 months free hosting
free support,
1 free email address,
custom ftp login
unlimited space
unlimited traffic

plus lots more,


All of this will be free to the competition winner, it's hard to put a value on it but it will be worth around £2-300 initially but with profits it might be worth nearer£500-600+?. You can keep the website and develop it or you can sell it, its up to the winner.

More to come soon, ill get the website up and running and ill do basic submissions, once i get everything running ok i will then work out how im going to do the competition fairly.

Most will have seen the websites ive done allready so you know it will definately be worth it.

I am making it VIP only simply because VIP's have done more for the forum in one way or another. Lastly you need to have been a VIP member at least 6 months, anyone under that cannot enter.

if you will be interested in taking part let me know below then i can get a feel for how many will take part.

EDIT: there is no catch, nothing for the winner to pay for 12 months, after 12 months if they want to keep the site it will just be the hosting fee as ill pay for the domain name for 2 years. it wont be a 'facebook' but it will be worth your while trust me

what would be the best way to do it fairly with no way of cheating?

take everyones name, then assign them a number starting from 1, then i could make a simple program that would randomise those numbers and pick 1 from complete random? i could film it on my camera for proof??

anyone got a better way? ideally i want something where its a random thing which makes it fair to everyone. mods and supermods are welcome so are admin - got to be fair to everyone really. apart from non vip

just to add, all i would require from the winning bidder is for them to keep a blog somewhere (maybe on their site) or twitter keeping everyone informed how they are doing. thats not much to ask?

yes m8, it will be ready next week as ive got 3 others to do b4 i do that one, ill try to get it ready for next weekend then ill figure something out for the competition next saturday.
