pacebox hard reset help

hi all , i know the boxes havent got long left , but i got a old telewest pace box which has been workin like a charm for years , but tonight its been displaying all the ap:52 and all the rest of the numbers as normal on start up but it now displays a 0 after and the goes into standby and locks out , i know nothin about these and would like to know if i can hard reset it by using the buttons on the front or remote as to me its crashing but i realy dont know ..... any help appreciatted big3

Sounds like it hasnt taken the new update, what model is it...is it from your area originally...what software is it running!

i had a scientific atlanta 4200 dvb that was stuck at ap52 and wouldn't do fook all else, in the end just binned it

Hi all , sorry for the late reply ..... the model number is DI1000T hope this helps .... as i said its going through all the ap: numbers then displays a 0 (zero) then shuts down , doing nothin but an illuminated standby light thnx big3

Sounds like it not gonna take the update m8 it would have by now if it was going to work

try it at another address to eliminate poor signal etc...

ive tried round my bros and it still does the same thing ..locking out after it displayes 0 on the front display

does it have a no update mod done on the sim?
