These constant volcanic eruptions have got to stop. Enough is enough!
Anybody else seeing signs of dust?

vixen i think was subject to an ashing on the car??? or nikki? one of the 2,
Mines had dust on it since Wednesday. Not sure if it's the Volcano though?
WASH IT.
Mines all gleaming today. Needed it badly. Couldn't tell if there was any dust to much mud down it!
Volcanic ash is pretty abrasive, so go easy when washing your pride and joy.
If there's dust on my car it will just merge in with the general shite that covers it permanently. Oh the joys of a company car.

It best not make it down here, I've just spent the last 11 bastard hours giving the car a good seeing to.
collect it and use it as a face pack, some high street beauty salons would charge top dollar for it
I STINK GET OVER IT !
Forgot to add, mine's covered in flour anyway, after being parked overnight in a mill car park.

That's what's pissing me off. I never wash the car and I did last week for the second time ever just before all this kicked off.
My version of washing doesn't take 11 hours though, I just squirt it with the hose then rub car washing stuff on it with a sponge. I'm still pissed off though.

You mean this one !
make sure you hose it off rather than sponging it off as it has small glass/silica particles in it and will scratch the car to buggery.
I've been told bird shit contains acids that mess up your paint so I defo wouldn't leave that on a car I cared about.
Bird shit actually contains lime which is alkaline but it causes the same corrosion of the paintwork!

any pics of this dust
Lol you'd struggle to see it on my car with naked eyes, let alone trying to photograph it. I reckon some of the photographers on here might manage but it's beyond my abilities. And not worth seeing tbh.
I was really hoping it would be like snow, except made of dust, but it very much isn't A foot of dust on the ground would have made for a more exciting day.

hey we had rain here today and when it has dried we appear to have sand like dust on cars as well
