    Default iphone 3gs water damage

Afternoon all, firstly my uncle is 1st class penis, he's left his iphone in his pocket and threw his clothes in the wash after a trip out on his bike, it was in the washer for about an hour before he got it out, would anybody on here (mobileman) be able to give advice on if it's worth a repair job, as he didn't take out insurance when he upgraded his contract,

i would be staggered if you got any life out of it ever again tbh.

Personally I'd sell it as faulty on ebay and put the money towards another. It would be the least hassle

You never know, pack it in a warm place with some silica gel packs and it may recover but the washing machine is an EXTREME environment!
    If at first you don't succeed.....redefine success. . . .

The wife's old nokia 6111 went through a wash cycle a few years back and worked sound (after a good drying out), fortnight later I knocked Yorkshire pudding batter all over the bastard, and the fucker still didn't die, couldn't believe it, back on topic he's only had about a month or so, I think he may have contents insurance so he may be taking that route instead, cheers for input though,
