I am thinking of getting the Xodus/Matrix chip, But I need to know whether it'll work on Xbox consoles manufactured after August 8th 2002? Basically the new combo M$ is selling with two games and the smaller controller.

simple answer is No!
you'll have to wait until the xecuter 2 hits the market.
from what i have heard the Physicall motherboard has nto changed BUT the bios has.Originally posted by Alpha

So if you find a comptible bios then it should work.
once the xecuter 2 bios is out you may have more luck then
maybe there has been some slighty changes to the LPC bus that won't allow old modchip to be used , even with a correct V1.1 Bios ..
let's hope Team Xecuter will clarify this once they release their chips'n'bios
