You could even get a set of portrait photos done, ive seen this done when i was travelling the east where there is no official church ceremony type thing.

Just get a blessing as mentioned above. "all the fun of the fair" without the dead goldfish a few weeks later.

I'm also a divorcee and don't see the attraction with getting re-married. I may change my views later in life, but at the moment, its not something that appeals to me. My partner understands, but she'd love the whole white wedding thing.

If I got married again, it wouldn't be that ceremonious and maybe abroad or just a registry do.

All you doom n gloomers i say dont be put off cos it didnt work out 1st time i must be very fortunate 32 years and counting i think its all to easy to give up now although i have heard some horror stories

Marriage is pretty good really mate. you probably weren't that compatible in the first place if it didn't work out. Doesn't mean it won't this time. All it is really is a bit of paper and a ceremony. Its all for the lasses anyway. Most blokes couldn't give a toss if they were married or not. It just makes the woman happy which in turn gives you a quieter life.
