thing is, I've run a full virus scan, zonealarm hasn't reported any new programs wanting to connect, I haven't downloaded any PC exe's for donkeys (except AV updates), I tried the grc.com shields up tests, etc etc, NOTHING.

Any ideas? I reckon it's friggin ICS but I just want to make sure :rolls:

yea I know what an irc bot is

however I thought a drone was more of a trojan that someone could use as past of a DoS or something along those lines? (ie a zombie) - tho still a bot I suppose.

eitherway I killed ICS and turned zonealarm back up to full (ICS requires it to be turned down to medium), got a fresh copy of mIRC just incase a script got in somewhere without me knowing and it's been fine for 24h+ now (the demon ban got lifted)

tho I have now noticed some demon server/router (punt-21.mail.demon.co.uk) has been trying to find an STMP service on my comp every 10 mins since wednesday, stupid thing
