DVDS HELP

HI evertime time i put a dvd in windows 7 says can not play it ..

yep more info needed here...assuming film dvds,what program u using to run then??? what dvdrom u using to read them etc

What region is it....is it the same as the region the drive is set too?

it says this but i did the changes but still will not play everthink worked great on xp but only had this problem with w7
Windows Media Player cannot play DVD video. You might need to adjust your Windows display settings. Open display settings in Control Panel, and then try lowering your screen resolution and color quality settings.
